Transmogrify

This was my first exhibit submission for the online art collective Heartsurge and their newest exhibition titled: Awakening. For this artwork I used an entirely different way of working, instead of focusing on color I weighed heavily on the composition and the object of focus.

My main focus was to give the entire piece a natural feeling. My interpretation to the theme “Awakening” was that of an object in growth — much like a flower — and I visually expressed that by transmogrifying the individual.
